Rain is expected in the central parts of the country.
60% rain is expected over Free State, North West, KZN, the north-eastern parts of Eastern Cape, extreme eastern parts of Northern Cape and the southern parts of Gauteng and Mpumalanga.
30% is expected on both sides of the heavy rain band, including the north-eastern parts of Western Cape, rest of Eastern Cape, eastern and central parts of Northern Cape, as well as the southern parts of Limpopo and the rest of Mpumalanga.

Western and Northern Cape will experience dry, windy weather, but still warm to hot conditions like the rest of the country, edging between the upper 20s and lower 30s.
Minimum temperatures on Friday will be cold in the western parts of Northern Cape, as well as the eastern interior of the country. The rest of the country will be cool, with warm temperatures on the extreme northern country borders and on the East Coast.
The coldest place in the country will be Sutherland in the Northern Cape, dropping to 10°C.
Maximum temperatures will be cool in the north-western corner of Northern Cape, the Cape Metropole, Garden Route and in the north-eastern interior of the country. The rest of the country will be warm to hot, with very hot conditions in the northern parts of Limpopo and Mpumalanga.
The hottest place in SA will be Phalaborwa in Limpopo, reaching a sweltering 39°C.
Pretoria in Gauteng will reach a high of 27°C, while Johannesburg will see a mild 25°C. Bloemfontein in the Free State will reach a warm 29°C.
Along the coastal regions, Cape Town in the Western Cape will reach 23°C, while KZN's Durban will see a warm 26°C, and Port Elizabeth in Eastern Cape will be 28°C.
