Temperatures are expected to drop from the current mild conditions across the country on Monday.
Widespread showers and thundershowers are expected over the eastern parts of the North West, northern and eastern parts of Free State and in Gauteng, Limpopo, Mpumalanga and Kwa-Zulu Natal on Monday.
Minimum temperatures are expected to be cold across the country with temperatures dropping in the north eastern and northern parts of South Africa.
Maximum temperatures are expected to be cool from the coastline into the eastern interior including Port Elizabeth, KZN and the Free State.
Warmer conditions are expected on the west coast including Cape Town and into the north western and northern border.
Pretoria is expected to experience a maximum of 15°C, while Johannesburg is expected to have a high of 13°C. A high of 18°C is predicted for Bloemfontein.
Along the coastal regions, Cape Town will reach a high of 19°C, and Port Elizabeth is expected to reach 19°C, while Durban will reach 22°C.
