Fire danger early tomorrow in the west with scattered showers across the country late afternoon

The South African Weather Service has issued a warning of extremely high fire danger conditions expected over Khai-Ma and ZF Mgcawu local municipalities in the Northern Cape.

Mpumalanga will be partly cloudy and cool with isolated showers and thundershowers in the central parts, but scattered in the south-western.

It will be partly cloudy and warm in Limpopo with isolated to scattered showers and thundershowers, except in the east.

The North West will have fine conditions, becoming partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated afternoon thundershowers, but scattered in the east.

The Northern Cape will be cloudy, but partly cloudy in the north-west and cool to warm, clearing in the north-west by the afternoon, otherwise partly cloudy with isolated thundershowers in the central and north-east.

The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong southerly to south-easterly.

It will be fine over the western parts of the Western Cape where it will be hot over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy and warm, but cloudy in places in the morning, especially along the south coast where it will be cool.

The western half of the Eastern Cape will be cloudy and cool with isolated showers and rain in the south, but partly cloudy in the north, where isolated thunderstorms are expected.

The wind along the coast will be moderate easterly to south-easterly.

The eastern half will experience fog in places along escapement at first, otherwise cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers, but scattered in the east. It will be cool along the coast.

KwaZulu-Natal will have morning fog over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy and warm.

Isolated showers and thundershowers are expected, but scattered in the south and west.

The wind along the coast will be moderate easterly to south-easterly becoming moderate to fresh north-easterly in the south by mid-morning.
